Meizu announced the M6S today, the newest addition to its M family of smartphones. It’s the first Meizu device to adopt an 18:9 display with narrow bezels on the top and bottom, joining the ranks of Apple, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and other smartphone companies that are moving toward a bezel-less design. Also like Apple, Meizu has carved a notch into this phone — except here, it’s on the side, making room for a power button and fingerprint sensor.
The M6S has a 5.7-inch display with a 1440 x 720 resolution and is slightly bigger than its predecessor, the M6 Note. The phone is powered by Samsung’s six-core Exynos 7872 processor, instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and has a 3,000mAh battery.
