FBI investigating Clinton-linked emails found during Anthony Weiner case

FBI Director James Comey wrote in a letter today that the agency has discovered new emails that may be relevant to its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. In an unexpected development, The New York Times has since reported that the emails were found on devices belonging to Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her scandal-plagued husband Anthony Weiner.

The letter, which was distributed to members of Congress, has little information, but Comey writes that the agency discovered the emails in the course of another investigation.
